All I can think when I see him is teen wolf. The “hate ourselves” line is so flat, compared to the original film. 😟 but Im thrilled this film was made and am looking forward to it. My favorite part of this is Donnie's part. I drive for a living, delivering car parts, and I always get hyped when this comes on, and that part comes up.

💚 Netflix is great 💚 Xd. Hm, the cadence of this reminds me of 'Birdman. Could be the score, too. My favorite character is Matt Bomer. He observes what's going y in a very sensitive way. The end together with Jim Parsons is hilarious, great acting. It makes me so sad that young gays have never seen (or even heard of) this pivotal piece of cinema but can name every contestant on RuPaul's Drag Race. I'm not even that old (37) and I've got no time for modern gay culture. Give me The Boys over a reality show about finding the perfect pair of tucking panties any day.

The alien ep, where he said a lot of airforce pilots saw ufos, just makes me think of that ep from the original series when such a pilot got beamed up to the enterprise lol. The face andrew makes- WHY DO YOU HAVE TO HURT THE BABY. I had never seen the original 1970 version and decided to watch both in one afternoon. The original is a classic, much better then I ever thought it could be, with excellent performances. I thought this would be an updating, but like the original, the dialogue, place and time, plot, actions ( NYC late 1960s) are very much the same although this has been edited down. Unlike the original, which was engrossing, this contains none of the spark and fire of the original, performances that are for the most part, not as well done and cuts some dialogue to throw in some flashbacks, including nudity, that add nothing. Did they feel they needed to add brief full frontal nudity to appeal to a 2020 audience ? Jim Parsons does not give the outstanding performance in the lead that Kenneth Nelson did in the original. Even worse, how did so many of these characters, that came across as real people in the 1970 version become more flamboyant stereotypes in this updated version. Is this some type of progress ? I found nothing offensive about the 1970 version having grown up in NY at that time. This film in no way captured the time and the actors just came across as actors acting. Only Tuc Watkins and Brian Hutchinson were as good or better then their 1970 counterparts. If you have to see only one version, see the 1970. Some movies do not need to be remade.

They said BTS WHOA A ARMY 3:00. Tony! Its you. When you got it, you got it and with just a bit of effort, it takes a lot of years to lose it (barring some disease or accident of course. Talent never really dies, it just fades away if not exercised regularly, but if you have the dedication and the means, you can reclaim it at almost any age. That is my belief and this video just goes as evidence. Jim Parsons, Zachary Quinto, Matt Bomer and Charlie Carver: LORD HAVE MERCY ON MY SOUL. I like the Take That homage, even though theyre not known in America. PS: Good luck and I'm going to stop by Boston in a couple of years. Who do you like the most ? Coming back after watching the new version... compared to this, the new version seem a bit off and less dramatic. I'm super excited to see this film version because I saw the Broadway revival back in 2018. I hold the 1970 film close to my heart and I'm curious to see how this version will be because I hear alterations in the dialogue, as well as some flashback sequences.
